8-Week Relationship Group for Singles
Finding and Keeping Love
Learn tips and tools that lead to more success in love in a short-term group for singles of all ages.
Using concepts from Imago Relationship Therapy, participants explore the complex nature of romantic attraction, discover the hidden factors that influence the partners they choose, and practice communication skills that can defuse conflict and promote connection in any relationship.
The group is structured like a workshop and includes informative presentations, written exercises, opportunities to practice effective communication skills, and weekly goal-setting.
Enrollment is limited to 6 people. A free intake interview and nonrefundable deposit are required to reserve a place. The group is offered periodically and usually meets from 6:35-8:05 p.m. on Wednesday evenings for 8 weeks. Please contact me at (202) 328-9055 for more information about when it will be scheduled next.

Participant Comments
I feel like I developed a lot of tools in this course that I can practice in real life, and I needed that.
It was good to have a group to work through all the exercises. I learned as much from my own work as I did through others'.
The best thing was an introduction to a new way of seeing/working with [relationship] problems -- Imago.
The instruction was great, and having a chance to share with other group participants was very informative and affirming.
I think that anyone dealing with these issues would benefit greatly from the experience.
